Service Description

For dogs under 12 months of age only. This is a 3 week course, meeting for one hour. Week 1 – Tuesday & Thursday Week 2 – Tuesday & Thursday Week 3 – Tuesday Course starts on 9th June at 7:15pm. (THE COURSE IS NON-REFUNDABLE) Puppy Foundation is designed to help puppies build confidence around other dogs, begin learning important life skills, and lay strong foundations for future education and training. The course provides a safe and structured way of helping puppies learn around others, whilst also giving owners a better understanding of training, communication, and the responsibilities of dog ownership. By the end of the course, puppies should have improved engagement with their handlers and stronger foundations in focus, learning, and everyday manners. The inclusion of play exercises adds another dimension to a puppy’s development and helps make training effective, rewarding, and enjoyable. Constructive play and suitable incentives are encouraged throughout the programme to help build confidence, connection, and better choices. Puppies will learn in a controlled group setting whilst everyone trains. Each puppy will have their own allocated section with board dividers to help avoid frustration and over arousal. Training in a group environment can be challenging for young dogs, so this set-up is designed to help set puppies up for success from day one. If you are interested in off-lead socialisation, please enquire about our Daycare services instead. Please bring plenty of small, tasty treats, a non-squeaky toy, a grooming brush, and a bed or mat. No extendable leads, choke/pinch/electric or prong collars please.
