A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hi and welcome to my site, I'm Barry Harris and I am a professional dog trainer based in Moreton, Wirral.
​
I have over 30 years experience in training dogs and have been training them professionally for 16 years.
I have always been around dogs my entire life but, my training career really started when I bought my first Bullmastiff who himself had some behaviour problems
Since then I have owned several dogs including Dogue De Bordeauxs and Cocker Spaniels.
I also co own and run a successful doggy daycare and training centre based in Moreton.

I studied for my degree in Applied Canine Behaviour at Hull University, where I learned about the science aspect of dog training as well as learning to apply that knowledge in training situations.
I was nominated KCAI Dog Trainer of the Year 2014.
I was nominated KCAI Dog Trainer of the Year 2015.
I made the top 5 UK Dog Trainers in March 2016.
I was nominated KCAI Dog Trainer of Year 2017.
I made the top 5 UK Dog Trainers in March 2018.

I've been Pet Professional Guild Member since 2006
I've been a Kennel Club Accredited member since 2005

SERVICES AND FEES
ONE TO ONE DOG TRAINING
As a professional dog trainer I understand the problems all dog owners experience with their dogs, be it there 1st dog or their 10th.
I work with problematic behaviours as well as general obedience.
I come to you and spend a minimum of an hour working with you and your dog/s.
Over the years I have helped thousands of dogs with issues ranging from walking on a loose lead to severe canine aggression.​

I promote the use of positive reinforcement training to help you and your canine companion overcome whatever difficulties you maybe experiencing.
£120 Initial first visit
£80 an hour there after
PUPPY CLASSES
For dogs under 12 months of age only.
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation
Assessment aims to provide a means of socialising puppies and to lay down a foundation for education and training.
On successful completion of the course puppies will respond to their handlers and the handlers will have an awareness of the responsibilities of dog ownership.
Constructive play and suitable incentives are encouraged within this puppy training programme.
£125 For 3 week course
1 hour, twice per week
DOG TRAINING CLASSES
The schemes will be taught by Barry Harris KCAI Dog Trainer of the Year 2017.
Each class will be 1 hour long, the courses run for minimum of 6 weeks, meeting once a week.
You can start off on the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze award and progress through the scheme as you past the last.
You cannot progress if you do not pass each of the prior awards.
